The best war is the one that never has to be fought. There are times you can achieve this through negotiations. There other times however, that you can not reason with the unreasonable. There are times when human values and dignity are shunned. There are times when people lose their rights and freedoms. There are times when some people are persecuted for what they believe and what they are. There are times when people are exterminated because of complete madness. There are times when people are made to suffer while they hope and pray someone, anyone, will help them. These are the times when aid comes from none other than the military. From Britain, from Australia, from the United States, and yes from Canada! Along with many more nations that have strong values of freedom.
Today is no different from any other time. All one has to do is read some history, there, they will find that in most cases of war or conflict, there were always people that stood up for pacifism and did not want the war to be fought. They wanted their loved ones home safe and sound. I can assure you that the people who want most for peace to prevail are those in the military along with their friends and families; their loved ones.
Throughout history, in every war or conflict, the enemy has always tried to convince the world that their cause was just, that the free world was wrong. This time it is no different. Well, it is different because the world of communications are better than ever before. The enemy has access to the internet, and do not think they are not using it. They read the same things as we read. When they see that a country does not support the causes of freedom and the causes our military are fighting for, they view it as a victory. They tell themselves they have the support of people in the very countries they are fighting. Look into some history folks; it’s always been that way.
Want to end the fighting? Then start standing behind our troops and our Countries. Support them with all that is in you. Tell them so. Shout it from the streets. Tell the politicians to give the military the things they need to do the job up right. Tell them you will support them if they give the troops clear directives, support, and funding they need.
This will be the only way our folks will come home sooner.
They best way to win a war there after is to never have to fight one. The best way to do this is to show those that would try, that you are very prepared and very capable of doing so. The Cold war proved this.
Support our governments and especially our troops. Their cause has always been just, and I am proud of each and every one of them. I wake every morning and say a thank you to those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice, and to those that are willing to do so, willing to do so, so we all can live in a safer freer world.
The world is full of dangerous evil people. Negotiating with them sometimes just does not get it done. Consider Neville Chamberlain if you will, when he told the world that he had achieved peace in our time. And Heir Hitler had given him his word.
If we want to see where we are going, look to our past. This is why we study history, so we won’t have to continually relearn lessons already learned. Until we change this human trait, the madness will continue.
People, quit blindly, and in many cases unknowingly, supporting the efforts of the enemy by saying that this leader and that leader are idiots. The war is all about this or that. Quit playing into their hands. The war is about freedom and the end to violence and atrocities on other human beings.
The Politian wants to be re-elected, thus he will listen to the masses in his ridings. Start today by sending them messages of strong support for funding for our troops. Get behind our military. This then will bring our folks home sooner as they will get the job done quicker and safer. It will also be a huge blow to the enemy when they see us all behind our governments and our troops. And keep the funding in place after this is done so that in the future all comers will know that we will not stand for their foolishness. Yes, the best way to never have to fight is to be very prepared and willing too.
Is there corruption within our governments? The answer is yes and as long as there are humans there, there will be. It is up to us to get rid of the corruption when it becomes evident, through elections, democracy, and Freedom. We elect our representatives to give us good representation. It is up to us to give them clear direction as to what we want them to do. United we stand, divided we fall! Aesop; John Dickinson.
On the other hand we can continue divided with some of us with our head in the sand, and have this drag on for ever while our folks continue to die along with many others. And hope that we pull out before the job is done, so we can go back again, or maybe even fight it out in the future right here at home.
God bless our military folks that stand for freedom everywhere. And God forbid not just on our soil. God bless our Politian’s that have the courage to stand up for what is right. God bless the greatest countries in the world. God bless all those that have made great sacrifices now and in the past for all you do, have done, and will continue to do for us and your grateful nations.
